WSX Updates: Colt Cabana, M-Dogg 20 and Matt Sydal

Scott Colton better known as Colt Cabana and known as Matt Classic in MTV's Wrestling Society X, was recently released from a contract with the WWE in February 2009.
Colt is still very active on the Indy circuit working for promotions like Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Ring of Honor (ROH).

Matthew Capiccioni better known as M-Dogg 20, tag teamed with Teddy Hart on WSX.
The tag team was called "The Filth and the Fury" .
Since WSX, Matt has worked for Pro Wrestling Noah and Nu-Wrestling Evolution.

Matthew Joseph Korklan wrestled in WSX as Matt Sydal, but a lot of people know him now as ECW's Evan Bourne.
After WSX, Matt went to Dragon Gate, Ring of Honor and then went to WWE's developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW).
When the WWE pulled out of OVW, Matt went to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and was finally called up to the main roster, appearing on ECW under a new ring name, "Evan Bourne".

Josh Raymond
Josh Abercrombie wrestled on WSX as "Josh Raymond".
He was part of a tag team with "Spyder" Nate Webb called The Trailer Park Boyz.
Josh has wrestled constantly in the independent wrestling promotions since WSX.
In 2009, he and Nate reformed The Trailer Park Boyz in IWA Mid-South.

Justin Credible
Peter Joseph "P.J." Polaco is better known by his ringname Justin Credible.
Justin was in the main event of the very first WSX Show, the WSX Rumble.
He was the first man in, and the last one eliminated.
After WSX, he showed back up in WWE as a member of ECW, then returned to the independent circuit.

Luke Hawx
Oren Hawxhurst or Altar Boy Luke appeared on WSX as Luke Hawx.
He was one half of a tag team with Alkatrazz.
After WSX, he went on to Pro Wrestling Unplugged, worked with WWE a few times and wrestled for Indy promotions like CZW, NWA and Juggalo Championship Wrestling.

Aaron Aguilera Updates

I don't know if any of you caught it, but Aaron Aguilera (who was part of the team Los Pochos Guapos with Kaos in WSX) was on CSI a couple of weeks back.
He played a masked luchador, Fantasma, in the episode "Mascaras".
BTW, that episode was the 200th episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
I think Aaron did a really good job on the show.

Jack Evans Updates

Like Human Tornado, I would have probably never seen Jack Evans without Wrestling Society X.
But I'm glad I did.
Besides his short time in WSX, Jack has wrestled for several independent wrestling promotions like Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling and Dragon Gate.

But now Jack is wrestling for Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) as a member of Konnan's heel group La Legión Extranjera (The Foreign Legion).
And he is also tag teaming with with Teddy Hart as The Hart Foundation 2.0. down there.

Tornado is still wrestling even after a really bad injury last year.

A Hart Still Pounding, the Tribulations and Triumphs of Ted Hart

Teddy Hart has a DVD out called "A Hart Still Pounding, the Tribulations and Triumphs of Ted Hart"and in it he mentions his time in Wrestling Society X on MTV.
In a review on Slam Canoe's site they say:
" Hart was also a part of the failed Wrestling Society X project that brought pro wrestling to MTV. He cites a lack of wrestling knowledge among the production crew as being the reason the show enjoyed limited success."

Big Vision Entertainment, the creators of WSX, have a nice selection of Wrestling DVDs on their website, http://bigvisionentertainment.com/.
Titles like Ultimate Hardys, Chickfight Collection, Wrestling Vixens and interestingly enough, GLOW: Greatest TV Moments.
I say interestingly enough because there's been a rumor that BVE wants to do a GLOW type reality show with female wrestlers.
Of course they also have WSX Complete First (and last) Season there.
Also they have a very cool Vampiro T-Shirt ( See picture above) for sale in their merchandise section.

WSX, NWA and.....GLOW?

WrestlingObserver.com and Wrestlezone.com are both reporting that Big Vision Entertainment, the producers of the "Wrestling Society X", is looking to start another promotion.
Big Vision is supposed to be working with the NWA on a new show. As it stands now, BVE will be released the NWA matches on DVD.
Another project that might be in the works for them is a " GLOW" type promotion, complete with its own reality show.

GLOW rebooted WSX style?
Now THAT would be interesting!

Lizzy Valentine

Elizabeth Miklosi was born August 10, 1983, in New York City.
She is a professional wrestler, valet, model, jazz musician, and actress. Miklosi has worked for more than 40 federations all across the United States.
In 2006 (airing in 2007), she performed in the short-lived MTV wrestling series Wrestling Society X under the ring name Lizzy Valentine as a valet and girlfriend for Matt Sydal.She is currently wrestling in Spain.

Andre Verdun / Youth Suicide

Andre Verdun was born October 25, 1981.
He is better known by his ring name, Youth Suicide. He is an American professional wrestler who wrestles for a number of American independent federations.

Youth Suicide participated in the tapings for MTV's Wrestling Society X series. He was featured in the debut episode, participating (and losing) in the 10-Man Battle Royal, which served to determine the two men that would compete for the WSX Championship. In Episode 6, he began a short-lived feud with Ricky Banderas, after aiding Vampiro from a double-team by Banderas and 6Pac. His last appearance was at the beginning of Episode 7, as a brawl between himself and Banderas spilled onto the stage where Quietdrive had just finished performing.

Suicide also appeared on Episode 6 of the WSX Internet show, WSXtra, where he competed against Scorpio "Sky" Andrews in singles competition. The match was interrupted by Ricky Banderas, who went straight for Youth Suicide and brawled all over the WSX Bunker, which set the stage for the conclusion of their brawl on Episide 7 (of the television series).

Vic Grimes

Vic Grimes was born January 3, 1963 in New York, New York. He is a professional wrestler, best known for his appearances with ECW, his tenure in Xtreme Pro Wrestling, the WWF as Key and Wrestling Society X.

Grimes was part of the Wrestling Society X series, with his debut airing March 14, 2007 dubbed as "Vicious" Vic Grimes. He debuted along side Arik Cannon against The Cartel, who Arik Cannon had been attacked by a couple of weeks ago. His debut was unsuccessful as Grimes was pinned by 3 members of The Cartel.

Two episodes later, Arik Cannon & Vic Grimes competed against Luke Hawx & Alkatrazz, during which Vic Grimes speared himself into some exploding light tubes at ringside, missing Alkatrazz. Arik Cannon was then pinned by Alkatrazz following a double team move.

Despite Vic Grimes huge size, he pulled off moves such a modified version of "Old School" and a corkscrew moonsault. To emphasize his huge size ( 6'4, 315 lbs) , everytime Grimes did a move or hit the mat, the screen would shake for a few seconds.

Wrestling Society X folded shortly thereafter.

Tyler Black

Colby Lopez was born May 28, 1986 in Buffalo, Iowa. He is better known by his ring name Tyler Black, an American professional wrestler who competes in North American independent promotions. He has competed in Scott County Wrestling, IWA Mid South, the National Wrestling Alliance, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Wrestling Society X and Ring of Honor.
In several promotions, Black is the tag team partner of Jimmy Jacobs, competing under the names Doin' It For Her (WSX), Kiss 2 Kill (PWG) and, along with Necro Butcher, Lacey, Allison Wonderland, Joey Matthews, Zach Gowen, and Rain , The Age of the Fall (ROH & FIP).

T.J. Perkins, Puma, PUMA, "The Pinoy Boy" T.J. Perkins

T.J. Perkins is an American pro wrestler of Irish and Filipino descent from Southern California.
Perkins wrestles as the masked Puma (PUMA) and on sometimes as "The Pinoy Boy" T.J. Perkins.
On February 9, 2006, PUMA wrestled as part of MTV's inaugural TV taping for their new Wrestling Society X promotion in Los Angeles, California. In addition to WSX, he was a regular member of the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla roster, where he wrestled as T.J. Perkins and Puma.

Justin Credible

Peter Joseph ("P.J.") Polaco (born October 16, 1973) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation as Aldo Montoya and Extreme Championship Wrestling under the ring name Justin Credible.

Credible signed a contract with the MTV "Wrestling Society X" stating that if MTV decided to turn the "one time special" into a full season, he would complete the season and would be un-able to compete anywhere else for that time period. He was released from his contract on June 5, 2006.

Polaco was in the main event of the first Wrestling Society X Show, the WSX Rumble. He was the first person in the match and the last one eliminated. He has lately returned to the independent circuit.

Also during this period, Credible gained notoriety for having gone from wrestling on national television to working as a sales associate at a Target location, and at a Chick-Fil-A for a short time. Since then he has apparentally stopped working for both.

WSX: New Jack

Jerome Young (born January 3, 1963) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his stage name New Jack.

He is known for his willingness to take dangerous bumps and his stiff hardcore wrestling style, often taking unneeded risks and "shooting" on opponents. He is also known for having his theme song ("Natural Born Killaz" by Ice Cube and Dr. Dre) play throughout his matches in ECW. The inspiration for his ring name came from the movie New Jack City.
Young has two children.

In 2006, New Jack reached an agreement with MTV to participate in their Wrestling Society X television series. He appeared in the Battle Royal to determine contenders for the WSX Championship, directing his focus on fellow ex-ECW alumni Chris Hamrick.

Jack Evans

Jack Fergal Miller (born April 2, 1982 in Parkland, Washington), better known by his ring name Jack Evans, is a professional wrestler who currently competes in the American-based promotions Ring of Honor, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He also competes in the Japanese-based promotion Dragon Gate.

Evans also wrestled in Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling.

Evans was also a part of the now defunct promotion Wrestling Society X on MTV, defeating Matt Sydal in the first televised match. While the show only lasted for one season, Jack remained undefeated (with one time limit draw to the Human Tornado). His most notable feud was with the Human Tornado. The two tied in a "dance off" and had a 10-minute time limit draw on the 9th episode of the show. On the 10th and final episode, it was announced the two would face each other in a "no time limit" match to determine the first lightweight champion but the show was cancelled after the first season.

The Human Tornado

Craig Williams (born May 1, 1983), better known by his ring name, Human Tornado, is an American pro wrestler. His gimmick is that of a stereotypical 1970s blaxploitation street pimp. Human Tornado appeared in the Jack Black lucha libre wrestling movie Nacho Libre as "El Snowflake." He has wrestled for various pro wrestling organizations including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling and the MTV promotion Wrestling Society X.

SoCal promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is considered to be Williams' home promotion. On January 13, 2007, he defeated Joey Ryan to win his first PWG World title. He is also a former PWG Tag Team champion with El Generico under the team name Two Skinny Black Guys. On February 24, 2008, Williams defeated Roderick Strong and Karl Anderson in a tournament final to win the vacated PWG World title for the second time. Recently he has been portraying a heel character while feuding with Chris Hero.

Human Tornado defeated Puma and Luke Hawx in a three way match at WSXtra. Hawx challenged him to a rematch after the match. Tornado made his television debut defeating Luke Hawx in the rematch. In a later televised episode, Human Tornado defeated Matt Sydal.

On June 18, 2005, Human Tornado collapsed during a match with Adam Pearce. He was rushed to the hospital, and it was discovered that he was suffering from severe dehydration.

That same year he was featured in the DVD, Pro Wrestling's Ultimate Insiders, which was an interview with former WWF(E) writers Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara. He was booking a match with other wrestlers.

After appearing in the film Nacho Libre, Williams has taken to the persona El Snowflake in the ring. In the storyline El Snowflake took the place of the injured Human Tornado on the second night of the 2006 Battle of Los Angeles in the Four-Way elimination match for the PWG World Championship.

The Human Tornado appreared in the JCW SLAMtv episode 'Westside Wars' alongside tag partner Kazushige Nosawa to take on Mad Man Pondo and Necro Butcher. Nosawa and The Human Tornado picked up the win.

Human Tornado competed in a tournament by Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) to win the CZW World Tag Team Championship with Justice Pain. But Tornado and his partner would end up losing at the tourny finals against Kings of Professional Wrestling on October 14, 2006 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Human Tornado returned to CZW in 2007 to compete in the Best of the Best 7 Tournament, eventually losing to Joker in the semi-finals

Human Tornado made his ROH debut on October 19, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada defeating Shane Hagadorn and Tony Kozina to make it to the 2007 Survival of the Fittest Elimination Match, where he was the first participant eliminated (by Chris Hero). Two nights later at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California he lost to Chris Hero in a one on one match. He would compete at the ROH show "Reckless Abandon" in Dayton, Ohio on November 30, 2007 where he lost a three way match with Davey Richards and Erick Stevens. Tornado was scheduled to appear on the December 1, 2007 ROH show in Chicago, Illinois (which was then called "Trios Tournament 2007") but he, along with Jack Evans, Ruckus, and Necro Butcher, all got into a weather-related car accident on their way to the show. Jack suffered a concussion, but the other passengers were unharmed.

On February 22, 2008, in Long Island, New York, Williams made his return to ROH in a four-way match won by Jason Blade. The following night in New York City he tagged with Delirious in a match where they were defeated by the team of Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black.

On Friday April 25, 2008 during a JCW show Tornado suffered a torn ACL and dislocated knee cap this injury will keep Tornado out for a least a year.

Genki Horiuchi

Genki Horiuchi, born Hiromasa Horiguchi, September 15, 1978, is a Japanese pro wrestler. He has competed in Wrestling Society X, Ring of Honor and Dragon Gate, most notably as a member of the heel faction Muscle Outlaw'z.

When Horiguchi's hairline began receding, the fans began to chant H-A-G-E (Japanese for 'bald') at him. He managed to use this to gain a sort of cult popularity, and his catchphrase, "Who has called me hage?", is one of the best known in Japan.

He has a younger brother named Hiromi Horiguchi who is currently working for Toryumon Mexico.

At the beginning of 2007 he was briefly affliated with the Wrestling Society X company that was run by MTV. He and Masato Yoshino were a tag team known as Team Dragon Gate. They would however only win an exploding cage timebomb deathmatch in their time in this promotion. At the time the team was active, he and Yoshino were in rival stables, as he was still aligned with DoFixer. However, he would later turn heel and join Yoshino in the Muscle Outlaw'z.

Chris Hamrick

Chris Hamrick is an American professional wrestler. He is perhaps best known for his appearances with ECW throughout the early 2000s. He is now wrestling with a promotion in South Carolina called CWA Pro Wrestling where is the current cruiserweight champion.

Hamrick began watching wrestling as a child and received a wrestling ring as a ninth birthday present. He made his professional debut at the age of sixteen in a promotion operated by his father, facing Alvin Melton in Mooresboro, North Carolina. Hamrick wrestled on the independent circuit for several years. In 1992 and 1993, he wrestled several televised matches for the WWF as a jobber. Hamrick went on to wrestle for Smoky Mountain Wrestling before returning to the independent circuit.

Hamrick wrestled a tryout match with ECW on May 25, 2000 in Columbia, South Carolina, and remained with the promotion until it declared bankruptcy in April 2001. In ECW, Hamrick was known as "Confederate Currency" Chris Hammerick and was part of the stable known as Hot Commodity with EZ Money, Elektra and Julio Dinero.

In 2002, Hamrick made several appearances with TNA Wrestling, wrestling under a mask as the luchadore character Crimson Dragon. In 2002 and 2003, he frequently wrestled for Xtreme Pro Wrestling, where he formed a tag team with Tracy Smothers known as Southern Comfort, also having a long running feud for the TV title with Kaos and The Enterprise.

In early 2007, Hamrick was featured on Wrestling Society X's first episode on MTV, getting into an argument with fellow ECW alumni New Jack, then getting eliminated by him in the WSX Rumble later that night. Despite the both of them getting eliminated from the bout, Hamrick took an elbow drop from New Jack off of the top of a truckbed through a table.

On the August 20, 2007, edition of WWE Raw, Hamrick made an appearance as a fake version of Triple H, in which he placed a crown on King Booker's head during a royal ceremony, leading up to King Booker's match with Triple H at SummerSlam.

El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado

Rick Clements is an American pro wrestler from San Diego, California, better known as Quicksilver.

Quicksilver is a regular on the California independent circuit, working for local promotions in the area such as Alternative Wrestling Show, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Southern California Championship Wrestling and Battle Ground Pro Wrestling. He also occasionally worked some shows for major East Coast indy promotions Combat Zone Wrestling and Jersey All Pro Wrestling.

Beginning his career in Revolution Pro, Quicksilver was a graduate of its Rudos Dojo wrestling school along with Chris Bosh, Scorpio Sky, and many others. After debuting Quicksilver would form the team with long time friend Scorpio Sky, the team was known as the Aerial Express. They had great success quickly running through all the top tag teams in southern California and becoming Southern California Tag Team of the Year in both 2003 and 2004. The Aerial Express won the AWS tag team titles 2 times. In late 2004 Quicksilver defeated partner Scorpio Sky to become the Revolution Pro Junior Heavyweight Champion on the final Revolution Pro show. In 2005 he would also hold the AWS Light Heavyweight Title at the same time and would become the last man to ever hold the Revolution Pro Junior title.

In 2007, Quicksilver arrived in Wrestling Society X as El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado. He debuted on WSX against Human Tornado but ended in a no contest after Tornado was attacked backstage by 6-Pac who also attacked him. He was a main stream on WSX-tra where he formed a tag team with old school wrestler Scott Colton (Matt Classic).

Michael Mondragon / Disco Machine

Michael Mondragon, better known as Disco Machine is an American professional wrestler from Southern California.

He kicked off his wrestling career working for Revolution Pro, a prominent SoCal promotion, in 1998. In 2003, Disco Machine became one of the six owners of brand new SoCal promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, collectively known as the "PWG Six". In 2005, He teamed with Excalibur, Kevin Steen, and Ronin as the new S.B.S., after he and Excalibur turned on Super Dragon. Disco and Excalibur also provide commentary on most of PWG's DVD releases (along with their occasional partner, TARO). He was a part of MTV's Wrestling Society X, teaming with Joey "Magnum" Ryan as "That 70's Team". He had a multiple page article written about him in FHM magazine in March 2006. In 2007, Disco Machine quietly retired from professional wrestling.

Benjamin "Benny" Cuntapay / B-Boy / Delikado

Benjamin "Benny" Cuntapay (born December 29, 1978) is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name, B–Boy.

Cuntapay was previously known as Benny Chong in Ultimate Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Unplugged, but is best known for his time in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Combat Zone Wrestling as B–Boy. Cuntapay, under a mask and using the name Delikado, was a part of the first season of MTV's Wrestling Society X. In late 2007, B–Boy announced that he would be retiring from pro wrestling at the end of the year. B–Boy had stated that he hoped his last match would be for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). It was announced on November 20, 2007, that B–Boy's last match would be for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla at their All Star Weekend 6 event on January 6th, 2008, however after a slight ACL tear, B-Boy will miss All Star Weekend 6, and will likely not wrestle again.

Tony Drake is an American professional wrestler who most previously wrestled for Wrestling Society X. He competes on the independent circuit using the ring name Babi Slymm, the name under which he has established himself in the wrestling business, and he also wrestles in Dragon Gate as a member of the Muscle Outlaw'z faction under the name Cyber Gang.

A Defensive Tackle and competitor in discus and track at high school, Drake began to train as a wrestler at the invitation of a friend operating a small Californian wrestling promotion in Oakland. Drake has competed for numerous organisations in the California area including XPW (under the name Saleem Jihad), UPW, NWA Pro and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He is best known as Babi Slymm, a street gangsta typically sporting gold jewellery and wearing red attire and bandanas (associated in California with the Bloods street gangs). Drake has received his greatest exposure recently competing for MTV's Wrestling Society X, in which he has formed a team with Ruckus named Keepin' It Gangsta.

In 2005 Drake was featured in 101 Reasons Not To Be A Pro Wrestler, a documentary by Michael Moody released by Hollymood Entertainment featuring shoot comments from a variety of wrestlers. After the documentary's release footage was released on YouTube by a Hollymood Entertainment employee showing Drake confronting and apparently punching Moody over differences in opinion over the film's final presentation.

On January 26, 2007 Drake officially joined Naruki Doi's Muscle Outlaw'z faction in the Japanese Dragon Gate promotion, beginning a new era in his career. Using the name Muscle Gang (a reference to his gangsta image), he is currently in a fixed tag-team with fellow faction member Cyber Kong.

Arik Cannon is a professional wrestler known for competing in companies such as CHIKARA, IWA Mid-South, All American Wrestling and Wrestling Society X.

Arik Cannon was trained at Midwest Pro Wrestling and is known for wrestling in IWA Mid-South. There, he became the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion by defeating Petey Williams in the Ted Petty Invitational Tournament. He defended it against Roderick Strong and Austin Aries, but was forced to give it up due to injury in 2004.

He returned to wrestling in 2005 and entered CHIKARA's Tag World Grand Prix 2005 with partner Claudio Castagnoli and made it to the finals to face Superfriends, Chris Hero and Mike Quackenbush. That night, Hero turned on Quackenbush and joined Cannon and Castagnoli, leading Cannon and Castagnoli to win the Tag World Grand Prix. The three began calling themselves the Kings of Wrestling. The began feuding with Quackenbush, but Cannon left the group in 2005. Cannon competed in the Tag World Grand Prix 2006 with Jigsaw as his partner, but lost in the second round. During June of 2006, Arik Cannon wrestled in CHIKARA's fourth annual Young Lions Cup tournament. In the final round, he defeated Cheech to win the tournament. At CHIKARA's Cibernetico Forever event in October 2006, however, Max Boyer manage to beat him for the Cup.

In November of 2006, Arik Cannon partook in the Wrestling Society X promotion's first season of television tapings, which later aired on MTV.

In the Spring of 2007 Arik began his own promotion known as F1rst Wrestling. All cards for F1rst Wrestling are held at First Ave in Minneapolis, MN.
In October 2007 Cannon went to Japan for a tour with Dragon Gate and was brought into the Muscle Outlawz faction by Naruki Doi along with fellow gaijins Kevin Steen & Jimmy Rave.

Jeffery Aaron Aguilera (born February 28, 1976), is a Mexican American Professional wrestler and actor who is best known as Jesús and Uno on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He then wrestled for MTV's Wrestling Society X before it folded.

Aaron 'Jesus' Aguilera was part of the team Los Pochos Guapos with Kaos who main evented in third episode in a Tables, Ladders and Cervasa's match ending their fued with Luke Hawx and Alkatrazz. Los Pochos Guapos, on a losng streak, got their first win over the team of Teddy Hart and Matt Cross, known as the Filth and the Fury. They then began a feud with The Cartel and participated in the Season Finale episode of WSX facing The Cartel in a Pirhana Deathmatch.

Sean Michael Waltman (born July 13, 1972) is an American professional wrestler. Waltman is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring names 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under the ring name Syxx and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Syxx-Pac and also Sean Waltman.

Since leaving TNA in January 2006, Waltman has wrestled on the independent circuit under both his real name and the ring name 6-Pac. He was also contracted to MTV's Wrestling Society X.

In February 2006, Waltman joined MTV's newly formed Wrestling Society X promotion. At the inaugural WSX tapings on February 9, 2006, Waltman (wrestling as 6-Pac) faced nine other wrestlers in a hardcore battle royal ladder match, which both Waltman and Vampiro won by climbing the ladder to take possession of WSX contracts. Waltman lost a WSX Championship title match to Vampiro the following week.

Waltman challenged Vampiro on Episode 4, as a ruse to introduce Ricky Banderas, who attacked Vampiro from behind. Afterwards, Waltman defeated Human Tornado and Scorpio Sky in singles competition, and teased an affair with Lizzy Valentine (the valet and girlfriend of Matt Sydal), though WSX folded before the angle could go on any further.

Former WSX Champion Ricky Banderas / Judas Mesias

Judas Mesias (former WSX Champion Ricky Banderas) is currently suffering from sciatic nerve trauma.
On September 21, 2007 it was reported that he was suffering from sciatica and that the condition's treatment required several weeks of rest, followed by physical therapy to recover. This injury was the result of a fall from a ladder at a titular match at AAA's Verano de Escandalo pay per view, which also knocked him out.

WSX released the following statement today saying they have stripped Ricky Banderas of the WSX Title. Of course, WSX is basically non-existant at the moment since they are not on TV and not running shows. The reason for all of this is because Banderas is set to debut with TNA soon.

As things stand now, Puerto Rican wrestler & former WSX wrestler Ricky Banderas is scheduled to be James Mitchell's mystery man to feud with Abyss. The only hold-up in the deal may be his busy schedule in Mexico for the AAA promotion. On April 24th, Wrestling Weekly hosts Doc Young and Les Thatcher were joined by former WWE writer ’Irish’ Pete Doyle for ‘Hot Topic’ and IWA-Mid South and WSX‘s, Josh Abercrombie. Wrestling Weekly airs every Tuesday at 8pm Eastern at www.wrestlingweekly.com

‘Irish’ Pete Doyle joined Doc & Les for this week’s “Hot Topic”, which is an interesting discussion about the latest situation regarding WWE’s Randy Orton.

Doc and Les were joined this week by Wrestling Society X and Independent wrestler, Josh Abercrombie. The interview begins when Doc states that Josh is now back to using “Josh Abercrombie” as he wrestled under the name, Josh ‘Jug’ Raymond for WSX. Les mentions that WSX has benefited Josh Abercrombie’s career on the independents and he’s been getting more bookings. Josh notes that everything has been “really good” and that he’s been recognised in public for one of the first times. Abercrombie then tells a story about being recognised in a restaurant and wrestling for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). Josh discusses wrestling in Mexico in detail and that he “kinda liked it, it was different“ and it was an “interesting experience“. Les mentions that Josh coaches high school wrestling and asks if his students have watched Wrestling Society X. Josh Abercrombie replies by highlighting that a lot of the kids he coaches are big time wrestling fans and either want to be a wrestler or know he’s a wrestler. Josh talks about the next day after he lost to M-Dogg-20 and Teddy Hart on WSX and the students reactions. He goes onto discuss that he’s in his fifth year of coaching and discusses his wrestling teams performance.

Wrestling Society X Champion Ricky Banderas could be on his way to TNA

411's own Puerto Rican sensation Armando Rodriguez has reported that reigning Wrestling Society X Champion Ricky Banderas could be on his way to TNA. Banderas, who got his start in Puerto Rico and was then programmed as a top heel in the short-lived WSX project, has been biding his time and taking Mexican bookings while he waits for his contract with MTV to expire. According to Mando, the deal is up on May 1, leaving Ricky free to jump to TNA, reportedly to become a member of LAX.

Watching Banderas in Total Nonstop Action would be rather interesting. Though his reputation prior to the WSX gig was that he was quite the horrid worker, 411's own Complete Player Ryan Mancuso has assured me that he's improved a good deal in Mexico and may actually be watchable now. Personally, I'd said several months ago that if anybody got snapped up by WWE after WSX's demise, it would be Banderas. Though he may not be the best wrestler on the planet, he certainly has the body that company normally looks for, and there are constantly rumors that they want to create more Latino superstars. However, TNA is perhaps a better fit for Banderas if his goal is to be treated as a big star right out of the gate. In that company, he doesn't have to worry about spending several months in a developmental territory, and TNA booking committee member Ducth Mantell is a former Puerto Rican mainstay who has shown a good deal of loyalty to others who have come from that area (namely the departed Apollo and the aforementioned Abyss).

Pro Wrestling Warfare (formerly NWA Florida/IPW-Hardcore) annually holds the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup every year to support the memory of independent wrestler, "the All American" Jeff Peterson who died of cancer in 2002. Many great wrestlers throughout the world have been a part of this tournament like WSX stars Human Tornado, Joey Ryan, Jack Evans, Jimmy Jacobs and Teddy Hart, TNA Wrestling’s Alex Shelley, Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams, CZW’s Chris Hero & Ruckus, ROH & FIP’s “Messiah of the Backbreaker” Roderick Strong, B-Boy, Puma, NWA World Tag Team champion “Notorious 187” Homicide plus the 2003 winner “Reckless Youth” Tom Carter, 2004 winner Justice, 2005 winner Chris Sabin and 2006 winner Milano Collection AT.

Today the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup committee received a certified letter from the desk of Chris Hero.

Hero states that as a former finalist, he feels he has earned a berth in this year's Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. He says the fans are demanding it, and he is obliging them with his presence. Hero says he is trying to redeem himself after coming so close to winning the tournament in 2004 after losing to Justice in a three way finals along with Roderick Strong.

"I am doing it for the kids," Hero said.

We at the JPC 2007 have decided that Chris is right, and are very proud to announce that Chris Hero has joined Krazy K, Allison Danger, Erick Stevens, Sideshow and "Unreal" Michael Elgin as the 2007 participants. That is SIX competitors so far; with 10 more still to be determined! This tournament is getting bigger and better, stay tuned for more information!

On April 10th, Wrestling Weekly hosts Doc Young and guest co-host "Irish" Pete Doyle were joined by Wrestling Society X and Ring of Honor's Jimmy Jacobs. Wrestling Weekly airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern at www.wrestlingweekly.com.

The discussion gets to Jimmy Jacobs last match for six to nine months, which is April 14th in Pittsburgh. Jimmy states he pulled his ACL and needs to have surgery, which is scheduled for April 20th. Doc mentions that everytime he sees Jimmy in person, that Jimmy is suffering somehow. Jimmy Jacobs says that despite the injury, he's looking forward to some time off.

Doc notes that Jimmy has gone two years straight working a show every week, Jacobs highlights that over the past five years he's only had a few weekends off. Jimmy Jacobs talks about his injury, saying he didn't do anything crazy, stating, "it was just normal stuff... wear and tear... ". He continues by saying a torn ACL is a fairly common injury and Jacobs notes if he wanted to still wrestle he could and refers to Stone Cold Steve Austin who wore a knee brace for years. One he gets surgery and rehabs, Jimmy Jacobs highlights, "it will be back to 100% and be normal... ".

Jimmy Jacobs then talks about Wrestling Society X, and that the exploding cage match finale episode won't be shown by MTV, but Jimmy says it is "pretty crazy". Jacobs talks about the lack of promotion for WSX, no commercials for the show and no appearances on Total Request Live (TRL), which he notes would have been in the best interests of MTV to have Jack Evans and Teddy Hart on TRL.

Jimmy Jacobs mentions the changes at MTV and Doc refers to an interview with Lizzy Valentine where she stated most of the team responsible for Wrestling Society X have been fired. Jimmy talks about the presentation and the matches on WSX being edited and in his opinion mistakes were made like editing five matches down to three, filming the audience instead and the explosions. Jimmy highlights further by saying the explosions looked "really cheesy." The exploding cage match from the season finale is then discussed, which Jacobs says is an awesome match, although "once the explosions happen... , you get the camera shaking and everything, which cheapens it... "

Doc mentions that WSX was catered for MTV fans and Jimmy agrees and mentions the matches on WSX Xtra are more for the wrestling fans. 'Irish' Pete Doyle talks about when he was WWE working with MTV on 'Sunday Night Heat' where he notes, "MTV was so bad at handling and understanding the wrestling business". Jimmy states that Big Vision Entertainment had to explain to MTV how wrestling works. Doc says that Jimmy Jacobs teamed up with Tyler Black in Wrestling Society X for a tag team called D.I.F.H (Doin' It For Her). Doc discusses the tag team with Jimmy in more detail, where Jacobs says he liked teaming with Tyler a lot.

For those of you who have not heard the news, Darren McMillan, who wrestled as Dynamite D, passed away last night at about 8 PM from complications related to cancer.

D had a storied history in the So Cal wrestling scene and gained a measure of international stardom with his “Mr. 80’s” Dynamite D persona in XPW.

Most recently D served as a coordinator for the pilot episode of Wrestling Society X. WSX co-creator/producer Kevin Kleinrock has credited D with being responsible for his career in wrestling and said that without Darren, XPW and therefore WSX would never have come to be.

SCU has learned Darren McMillan, who wrestled in SoCal as Dynamite D passed away around 8:00 PM on April 11th. Dynamite D is best known for his time in XPW, however it had been wrestling locally since 1990. D was also responsible for training or helping to train countless SoCal wrestlers including Kaos, Damian Steele, and Ed Ferarra.

D also hosted a radio show that was responsible for helping to promote Southern California indy shows in the days prior to the explosion of the Internet.

Now that WSX contracts are void, Colt Cabana will not be the only ex-WSX wrestler to sign a developmental deal by Summerslam.

Samuel Berman: BUY. My answer is short here, because there aren't a lot of former WSX guys that I think fit the WWE mold. However, there is ALWAYS the chance that Sean Waltman could get brought back in, and Teddy Hart is a natural option if Vince decides to green light the ‘New Hart Foundation' idea that supposedly keeps getting bopped around. So I'm buying this one because I think at least one of those will happen. I'd caution anyone who thinks Jack Evans is all of a sudden going to show up on SmackDown! to keep dreaming.

John Gregory: SELL. Though I do think Teddy will end up there, just not that quickly. Most of the roster in WSX is made up of guys that would fit far better in TNA than WWE, and I would expect Matt Sydal, Jack Evans, and maybe Joey Ryan to be picked up by them if TNA wants to freshen their X-Division roster. Otherwise, there's guys in WSX who are not ready for the big time(Josh Abercrombie, Tyler Black) , wouldn't fit TNA or WWE's style(Jimmy Jacobs, Human Tornado, Arik Cannon), or are just past their prime (basically anyone who was in XPW).

It looks to be over...

The latest word out of MTV is that the network has no plans to air the 10th and final episode of Wrestling Society X, meaning the series is over and all contracted talent is now free to sign elsewhere. Colt Cabana (Matt Classic in WSX) was on a short term deal and has already signed a new developmental deal with WWE.

WSX is still airing on MTV in many international markets, but the network has no plans to continue on with the show once those episodes finish airing.

As reported on the site yesterday, Colt Cabana has signed a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment after his WSX no-compete clause ran out recently. I don’t have a full rundown on who is still under WSX contract, but although the show has finished in the United States (or at least for the forseeable future), some wrestlers are still seeing out their no-compete clauses, while some are free to sign for the likes of WWE or TNA, should an offer come along.

Sean Waltman is one name who is still seeing out his WSX deal, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him resurface in TNA once he is free to, nor would I be surprised if he makes a return to WWE at some point down the line. Looking through the WSX roster, the only other name that springs to mind when it comes to signing with either of “the big two” is Teddy Hart. If you recall, Hart recently was claiming a WWE deal was on the cards once his WSX deal was up.

For those of you in the UK, the first episode of Wrestling Society X is replayed tonight at 11pm on MTV UK. If you caught the show (which has its first airing on Sunday nights at 11pm), feel free to get in touch and let us know what you thought of it.

Wrestling Society X has come and gone, and another attempt at creating the next big national company has failed. In this special Sunday edition of Friendly Competition, I wrap the series up and share my pain.

As we all know, Wrestling Society X very possibly has recently met its end via the boardroom. As it stands now, they aren't even going to air the 'big' season finale. However, thanks to the magic of binding contracts, MTV was still obligated to run the rest of the episodes they taped, and so we got this past Tuesday night's WSX marathon. Now, as a longtime diehard wrestling fan, I have been witness to some of the worst crap that everybody from Vince Russo on down has tried to pass off as wrestling over the years. I have lived through Katie Vick. I have lived through the White Castle Of Fear and the Beach Blast mini-movies. The Dungeon Of Doom was nothing. The Undertaker's death at Royal Rumble 94 and the ensuing Undertaker vs Undertaker feud barely made me wince. I even actually came out of Heroes Of Wrestling with a smile on my face."

It looks as if Wrestling Society X on MTV is over for good. MTV has removed next week’s scheduled airing of the Wrestling Society X Season One series finale from their schedule and replaced it with an episode of The Real World.

As things currently stand, there is no word on whether or not the episode ever will air. The WSX wrestler contracts are set to expire 90 days after the finale so if it does not air it will certainly be interesting to see what the options are for the talent if they receive offers from TNA or WWE.

Despite new episodes being cancelled, there is talk of rerunning WSX episodes on MTV2 in the near future.

WSX: Vampiro ,part 4

Vampiro was involved in a controversial angle which led to MTV cancelling the 4th WSX show, due to air on Tuesday February 20th[[3]]. In the (pre-taped) show he was the recipient of a fireball to the face thrown by Ricky Banderas which resulted in Vampiro's head momentarily catching fire. The footage has since been leaked onto the internet. Later in his debut WSX match, Ricky Banderas had defeated Vampiro to claim the WSX Championship.

Ian grew up in a single parent home with his mother and two sisters.
Ian is divorced from Kitsu with a daughter named Dasha, whose Godfather is Norman Smiley.
Ian is the vocalist for Punk/Industrial/Metal band, Droch Fhoula.

Vampiro's sister is a former Miss Nude Canada.
Attended Port Arthur Collegiate Institute in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Despite being born in Canada, he is much respected in Mexico and considers Mexico his "Home away from home".
When wrestling in Mexico, he was named as El Vampiro Canadiense, which translates to The Canadian Vampire.
For a brief period of time, he was a bodyguard for the pop group Milli Vanilli.
He was drafted by Kingston of the Ontario Hockey League at one stage of his life.
His musical influence and passion saw him become a frontman for a local punk band for a brief period.
His biggest fanbase comes from Mexico.

Had a falling out with The Misfits over money owed on the sale of T-Shirts while in WCW.
After setting Sting on fire in the Human Torch Match, there was a vignette on WCW Monday Nitro of Vampiro reporting his success to a dark, hooded figure. That figure was "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.
In WCW, he changed his facepaint regularly to match the style of the band that would accompany him to the ring. His face was painted Juggalo style when ICP was with him and painted his face up like a human skull when Jerry Only of The Misfits was in his corner.
His character was supposed to be "killed off" on December 31, 1999 by The KISS Demon on a New Year's Eve show that was to be produced by WCW and the rock band KISS. His demise called for him to be thrown into a vat of holy water. This plan, as well as the event were cancelled once WCW head Eric Bischoff was ousted from power in September of that year.
Vampiro is fluent in Spanish.
Vampiro was ranked 128 on the 2006 PWI Top 500
During the height of his wrestling career in Mexico, Vampiro starred in an action film entitled Guerrero De La Noche, which was not unlike the El Santo films of the 1960's and 1970's.
Vampiro is a dual citizen of Canada and Mexico.

Vampiro would later turn his back on Muta, setting up an 3 Way match at War Games with himself, Sting and Muta, which was won by Sting. Vampiro would then take time away from the sport as his wife had a baby.

He returned a month later, where he defeated Crowbar in a Hardcore Match. Vampiro then challenged Mike Awesome. During a match with Awesome, he was Superbombed off the top rope, causing a concussion. The next night at the Thunder tapings, he received another Awesome Bomb, causing more suffering. This would be his last match in WCW.

With WCW out of business, Vampiro headed back to CMLL. He also took tours with All Japan Pro Wrestling, teaming with his idol, The Great Muta. Vampiro also wrestled in Puerto Rico between tours of CMLL.

In 2003 Vampiro had a short run in TNA, joining Father James Mitchell and The New Church in their attempt to rid TNA of Raven. After losing to Raven in a Dream Blood Blood Gallows of Retribution match he was never seen in TNA again.

In 2005 he jumped with Shocker to the AAA promotion in which both he and Konnan hold booking positions. Currently he has no plans to return to TNA or work for WWE [1] although he has stated in interviews with the UK's Power Slam Magazine that he has no objection to joining TNA - although he suspects it will not happen now that Sting is on their roster.

When not working for AAA Vampiro can be seen wrestling in the US for the Southern California promotion Full Contact Wrestling, in Puerto Rico for IWA, IPW in the United Kingdom and Nu Wrestling Evolution across Italy.

On March 10, 2006 Vampiro became the Rey de Reyes of AAA by winning a 12-Man-Elimination Match.

A documentary following his life is due for release in 2007 and is being produced by Zed Jamaica.

On January 26, 2007 he was featured in a pilot for a new wrestling show produced for MTV called Wrestling Society X. He competed in a 10 man Battle Royal/Death Match, eventually securing one of two contracts earning him a shot at the inaugural Wrestling Society X Championship against Sean Waltman.

Combatants in this ladder match included Vampiro, Sean Waltman, Teddy Hart, New Jack, Lone Star, Kaos, Puma, Al Katrazz, Justin Credible and Chris Hamrick. Vampiro also holds a booking position within the company.

He won the WSX Championship after defeating 6-Pac on the February 6th episode of Wrestling Society X after sending him into an exploding coffin with a Tombstone piledriver.

WSX: Vampiro ,part 2

Whilst working in Mexico Vampiro began a real life feud with fellow CMLL headliner Konnan. Konnan had been the top star in the promotion prior to Vampiro's arrival and did not take well to Vampiro's superstardom. The feud stems from Vampiro being offered a part in a Mexican soap opera, but then the producers changing their mind at the last minute when they learned that Vampiro's command of the Spanish language was poor, and went with Konnan, a fluent Spanish speaker, instead. Vampiro considered Konnan to have sabotaged his chance to parlay his ring success into mainstream stardom, as Konnan did become a mainstream star in Mexico as a result of the role. The rivalry lasted for several years until the two resolved their differences whilst working in WCW, where they became very close friends and business associates.

In the late 90s, Vampiro was signed by WCW. He formed a stable with the Insane Clown Posse and Raven called the 'The Dead Pool' (initially called 'The Necro-Ward'). Even though the stable was short-lived, they gained popularity and had a heated feud with Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and rival Konnan. His popularity was on the rise, but was allegedly held down by backstage politics by older stars such as Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. It has also been alleged that Konnan buried him to bookers by fabricating stories about substance abuse. His situation was not helped any by his outspoken attitude and complaining about the way he was booked, making him unpopular among the other wrestlers, who considered him a whiner. It was commonplace to hear him on WCW Live! where he would air his grievances. He constantly called the Insane Clown Posse to complain about working for WCW and ICP would then broadcast these phone calls on the Internet, which didn't help him.

Vampiro would later bring the Misfits into WCW, and began a feud with Oklahoma and 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams. Vampiro had a match with 'Dr. Death' at the Mayhem Pay Per View, in which the stipulation was if Vampiro won, he would get five minutes alone with Oklahoma in the ring. Williams was disqualified, and Vampiro fought Oklahoma. Surprisingly, Oklahoma was able to mount a good bit of offense. The ending came when Vampiro took Oklahoma's cowboy hat and then pinned him following the Nail In The Coffin.

In Early 2000, he formed an Alliance with Sting, as the Brothers in Paint (after helping Sting defeat Lex Luger in a lumberjack match). This didn't last too long, with Vampiro turning on Sting when WCW split into the New Blood and the Millionaire's Club. They had several encounters, including a First Blood match, where gallons of blood fell from the top of the Arena to drown Sting. They would feud throughout the spring, with Sting getting the upper hand on Vampiro in nearly all their encounters. This set up the Human Torch match, in which Vampiro won by setting an obvious Sting stunt double on fire. Vampiro would then focus on The Demon due to his defection from the ICP formed stable, The Dark Carnival. He would kidnap his fiancee, Asya, in a skit resembling the 1988 film Spoorloos. Afterwards, he challenged him to a Graveyard Match, which sparked the return of Sting.

Vampiro would be entered in the vacant United States Title Tournament, with his first round opponent being The Great Muta, whom Vampiro lost to. Vampiro later joined up with Muta to attack Ernest 'The Cat' Miller. Vampiro won his first and only title in WCW with The Great Muta, by defeating Kronik in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on August 13, 2000. However, this reign was very short lived, as they lost the Tag Championship the very next night to Rey Mysterio and Juventud Guerrera in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

He is currently competing in Wrestling Society X, where he is the WSX Champion. He is the vocalist for punk/industrial band Droch Fhoula. He is currently working with former singer of The Misfits, Michale Graves to form a horror punk band by the name of "Devil, Devil" to debut in the near future.

Ian got his start in the business working for International Wrestling out of Montreal, Quebec. He often set up the ring before events and would train with the wrestlers before their WWC Umatches. He made his debut as a jobber in 1985 with little training, although he has credited Abdullah the Butcher as his trainer.

After a few years in Montreal, Hodgkinson headed down to Mexico City, looking for work in the CMLL promotion. He met with Paco Alonso and Antonio Peña, who took him as a joke because of his unique look (he had long dreadlocked blue hair and several tattoos). They decided to throw him in the ring as Vampiro Canadiense (Canadian Vampire) because he told them he liked vampires. To their surprise, with his very limited moveset that only consisted of punches, kicks, and headbutts, he became an overnight superstar, as his rock star appearance and natural good looks caught on with the young Mexican women in the audience. Although he didn't have much skill in the ring, he quickly became the biggest superstar in the promotion, as the women would scream loudly for him to make his comeback and gain victory. He won many hair matches during the height of his popularity. Knowing his popularity would not last forever Vampiro trained in several forms of martial arts, working hard to improve his in ring skills.

MTV wrestling show falls off the charts

Wrestling Society X appears to have bitten the dust.

After just four episodes, the grungy underground wrestling show has reportedly been cancelled by MTV.

Late Friday, the company behind WSX, Big Vision Entertainment, released a statement clarifying the situation:

"MTV is making no statement in regards to canceling Wrestling Society X. However, WSX will be pulled off the Tuesday night lineup in order to strategize the best way to bring the show back to the network and to the fans," explained Big Vision CEO Houston Curtis. "Although the show has not been performing as well as the network had hoped in the Tuesday night lineup, we have been told that other MTV departments including MTV 2, MTV Online, MTV Mobile, and MTV Video-On-Demand are 100% behind Wrestling Society X. Additionally, the Creative and Development executives at MTV have commended us on the production of the show and are saddened by the lack of response due to scheduling mishaps and under-promotion."

The six remaining unaired episodes have been pulled from MTV's schedule. All four previous episodes will be available on WSX.MTV.COM along with their WSXtra counterparts.

WSX had been heralded as the Great White Hope for creating a new generation of wrestling fans. Targeted at a young, hip, under-25 demographic, the show featured live rock music, a fight-club environment and a ring announcer who screamed more often than he actually announced.

The wrestling itself was fast-paced, high-flying and ultra-violent, with a focus on explosions and barbed wire rather than headlocks and dropkicks.

After a strong debut showing last month -- more than a million American viewers tuned in to the premiere episode -- the ratings gradually dipped to almost half that level by Week 3.

After a one-week hiatus due to a censorship issue, WSX returned with rumours of impending cancellation already hanging over its head.

Wednesday night, word filtered down from MTV sources that the show had officially been axed.

Big Vision Entertainment will keep the rights to the show, with the option to shop it around to other networks. WSX never aired in Canada, even though Calgarian Ted Hart and former Stampede Wrestling standout Jack Evans were two of the promotion's biggest stars.

It appears MTV are trying to run the episodes as quickly as possible, I'm guessing because they are contractually obligated. I would assume that the WSXtra online series will not return.
For those who have asked, Big Vision Entertainment will be able to shop the WSX series concept around to other potential networks, although off the top of my head I don't know what those could be. In an update on the story we reported yesterday regarding the future of Wrestling Society X on MTV, as expected, Big Vision Entertainment CEO Houston Curtis will make a statement later today about both the current status and future of WSX.

As reported yesterday, there has been a lot of activity behind the scenes at MTV recently, which hasn’t helped WSX at all. As well as changes being made to MTV programming and direction in the future, hundreds of jobs were cut in the United States last week. In addition, around 250 jobs were cut from MTV’s UK offices in London yesterday.

I watched the fourth episode of Wrestling Society X four times last night, and I'm still not sure what happened.

As discussed by SLAM! Wrestling's Nick Tylwalk earlier this week, the episode was held for a week because MTV officials were a little shaky on showing a segment that showed Vampiro taking a fireball to the face. In all honesty, the entire spot lasted only about two minutes, and didn't really contribute anything to the show. But more about that later.

The night kicked off with a performance by musical guests Clipse, who turned to be better commentators than Bret Ernst and Kris Kloss.

I've also had all I can take of the ring announcer, and he stepped up his obnoxious level a few notches last night.

Match #1: Matt Sydal vs. Scorpio Sky.

Hands down, this was the best match of the night.

Accompanied to the ring by his manager Lizzy Valentine, pretty boy Sydal posed for the camera before getting underway.

Sydal took a shoulder block by Sky before executing a leg scissor takedown. Sky does one of the best hurricarranas I've ever seen, and pushes Sydal, who asks for a break, from the ring.

Once back in, Sydal attempted a sunset flip, but is hit with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. A few chops and clotheslines (including one that I'm still trying to figure out that had Sydal beginning outside the ropes) later, Sydal was again pushed out of the ring. Sky does a flip out of the ring to land on Sydal and actually lands squarely on his feet.

Back in the ring though, Sydal executes a very well-done standing moonsault for the two-count attempt. Sky responds by slamming Sydal, but he responds with a standing frontward moonsault off the ropes and gets the win against Sky.

Lizzy Valentine then takes more than enough time to write "H8R" on Sky's back in lipstick.

Joey Ryan is one of the six owners of SoCal promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, collectively known as the "PWG Six". He began in PWG as part of the X-Foundation with Funky Billy Kim and "The Professional" Scott Lost. They teamed together at PWG's first show, losing to the team of Adam Pearce, Hardcore Kidd, and Al Katrazz. Joey Ryan then took part in the Badass Mother 3000 tournament to determine the first PWG Champion. Ryan made it to the finals, but lost to Frankie Kazarian. Joey Ryan then teamed with Scott Lost in the Tango & Cash Invitational tournament for the PWG Tag Team Championship. They made it to the semi-finals, but lost to Super Dragon and American Dragon. Ryan and Lost won the titles at the next show, but lost them in their first defense against Quicksilver and Chris Bosh. Ryan continued teaming with the X-Foundation, and regained the tag team titles with Scott Lost on June 19, 2004 at Rocktoberfest. Problems began within the X-Foundation, leading to a ladder match between Joey Ryan and Scott Lost for the titles. Scott Lost won the match and chose Chris Bosh as his new partner. At Use Your Illusion 4, Ryan lost a 60 Minute Iron Man match to Super Dragon.

Ryan then had a brief absence from PWG. When he returned, he began teaming with Scott Lost and Chris Bosh, which lead many to question his actions. He would then set out to prove that he is the best technical wrestler. He challenged and defeated many wrestlers who are known to have great technical skills, such as Rocky Romero, Alex Shelley, Chris Hero, and Claudio Castagnoli. Though he won the matches, Ryan had to cheat and use help from Lost or Bosh to win, since he would usually be outwrestled each match. It was around this time that Ryan changed his appearance to resemble Tom Selleck from Magnum, P.I., which included a big moustache. He even changed his finisher name from the Duff Drop to the Moustache Ride. At Chanukah Chaos (The C's Are Silent), Joey Ryan beat Kevin Steen for the PWG Championship after Super Dragon gave Steen two Psycho Drivers. He made his first defense at CZW's Cage of Death 7 against El Generico. Ryan began defeating a number of wrestlers using some under handed tactic or a sheer stroke of luck on his behalf. Some of the wrestlers he has defeated include Chris Kanyon, Human Tornado, Chris Bosh, A.J. Styles, Kevin Steen, Emil Sitoci, Jonny Storm, Chris Sabin, Super Dragon, Necro Butcher, Franky Kazarian, Davey Richards, and B-Boy. Ryan became the longest reigning champion, and made the title a World title in the process by defending it in Europe.

He went on to form a stable known as The Dynasty, consisting of himself, Scorpio Sky, Scott Lost, and Chris Bosh. The four screwed the then PWG Tag Team Champs Super Dragon and Davey Richards, ending their dominant reign as tag champs. Joey would proceed to give Super Dragon a Mustache Ride through two tables, putting Dragon on the shelf. After holding the PWG title for a little over a year, winning usually due to cheating and interference, Ryan lost the title to Human Tornado on January 13, 2007.

Ruckus (real name Claude Marrow) is an American independent professional wrestler who mainly performs in the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) promotion and is a member of the Blackout stable with Eddie Kingston, Sabian, Ricky Reyes, and Robbie Mireno.

Ruckus made his official professional wrestling debut against Chad Olsen on April 18, 1999, although he had wrestled many times before as a backyard wrestler. Ruckus and The Hurricane Kid were hired by Combat Zone Wrestling when owner John Zandig saw them working for Power House Wrestling and was impressed by their ability. When Ruckus started in CZW he weighed nearly 300 lbs. but has since dropped over 60 pounds.

He began wrestling in CZW around 2001 and became known for doing high flying moves, such as the 450 splash, that are not normally done by people of his size. In order to prepare for such tricks he enlisted the help of diminutive British comedian and former Haymarket Greek wrestling champion Ronnie Corbett, who was in Maryland on a sabbatical. He won his first title, the CZW World Junior Heavyweight Championship, in December 2001, but only held it a short time as he lost it at Cage of Death III to Trent Acid. He regained this title in January 2003. During this reign, Ruckus began teaming with Sonjay Dutt. They wrestled many matches as a team, but Ruckus became jealous of Sonjay and turned on him at Night of Infamy 2. This turn lead to a match at Cage of Death V which Sonjay won to become the new Junior Heavyweight Champion.

In 2004, Ruckus and Robbie Mireno formed a stable called The Blackout. The stable also featured Sabian and Joker and they feuded with Chris Cash. Eddie Kingston would later join them. In June 2004, Ruckus and Sabian won the CZW World Tag Team Championship from Nick Gage and Nate Hatred. Ruckus competed in the Cage of Death match at Cage of Death V against Team Cash. Ruckus was eliminated from the match and his team ended up losing the tag titles. In February 2005, Ruckus defeated Messiah for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. He held the title for many months and defended it against wrestlers such as Sonjay Dutt, B-Boy, Sexxxy Eddie, and Beef Wellington. Later in 2005, Ruckus and the rest of The Blackout began a feud with the Kings of Professional Wrestling and Super Dragon. At Night of Infamy 4, Ruckus successfully defended the title against Claudio Castagnoli. At the next show, Cage of Death 7, Ruckus lost the title to Super Dragon.

Ruckus, Sabian, and Eddie Kingston won a six man tag match against the Kings and Super Dragon at the next show, and at the following show, Ruckus regained the World Championship. Joker and Eddie Kingston also won the tag championship that night. On May 13, 2006, Ruckus won the Best of the Best tournament by defeating Sabian, Claudio Castagnoli, and Austin Aries in the final match. After Ruckus won the tournament, Chris Hero came out demanded a title shot and defeated Ruckus for the belt. In August 2006, Eddie Kingston was kicked out of Blackout and his title was given to Ruckus, making Ruckus and Joker the new champions. However, once Joker left CZW, Blackout was stripped of the titles. The same night they were stripped, Ruckus and the debuting Ricky Reyes helped Eddie Kingston win the World Championship and welcomed him back to Blackout.

Chris Scoville (born February 17, 1984 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Jimmy Jacobs.

Chris Scoville first became involved in the wrestling industry in June 1998 as a general assistant for Pro Wrestling Worldwide (PWW), a promotion based in Grand Rapids, Michigan where his brother was working. Scoville spent nine months performing various tasks, including providing color commentary and acting as the company webmaster. He began training as a wrestler under the veteran Joe "El Tejano" Ortega, a former student of Jose Lothario and the founder of the LsWO, in Holland, Michigan in March 1999, and wrestled his debut match on May 1, 1999 at the age of fifteen as Jimmy Jacobs (a name he would use in conjunction with various nicknames for most, perhaps all, of his career), losing to Michael Stryker. Scoville completed his training in August 1999 and went on to wrestle for various independent promotions in the Michigan area on the weekends, while attending high school and working as a furniture mover during the week. After graduating, Scoville attended college for three years before deciding to focus on his wrestling career as a full-time job in May 2005.

He created multiple characters; perhaps the most infamous of these was The Barbaric Berzerker (which functioned as a nickname attributed to Jimmy Jacobs), a tribute to The Berzerker (a wrestler who was famous for dressing and acting like a Viking warrior) and Bruiser Brody (an influential brawler). As The Barbaric Berzerker, Jacobs would wear large, furry boots, stomp on his opponents' hands, and constantly shout "Huss!". One of his earliest characters was Jumpin' Jimmy Jacobs, a gimmick which saw hop to the ring on a pogo stick while wearing a top-hat.

Throughout 2003 and 2004, Jacobs worked for Combat Zone Wrestling, where he was managed by Becky Bayless.

From 2002 to 2005, Jacobs worked for IWA Mid South, On April 1, 2005, Jacobs defeated Danny Daniels to win the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Championship. However on a November 26, 2005 AAW show, Jacobs threw the IWA Mid-South Championship in a garbage can, citing he needed to get paid after the shows he had been scheduled to wrestle on for IWA Mid-South that weekend had been cancelled. On January 21, 2006 he lost the IWA-MS World title to Arik Cannon and left the promotion. He returned in a surprise appearance on September 30th, 2006, and has since made more surprise appearances and had a few matches, however in an "unofficial" capacity. On January 5th, 2007, Jimmy wrestled his first match back as he faced his former friend Josh Ambercrombie. Jimmy would end up losing that match due to outside interferience.

Jacobs joined Ring of Honor in 2003 along with rival Alex Shelley whom he'd feud against or occasionally team with early on in Ring of Honor. After Dan Maff left the company as a result of a fallout with his trainer Homicide, Jacobs formed a tag team with Maff's former partner, B.J. Whitmer. On April 2, 2005, Jacobs and Whitmer defeated Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal for the vacant ROH Tag Team Championship. They lost the title to The Carnage Crew on July 9, 2005, but regained them on July 23. They went on to lose the title again, this time to the team of Sal Rinauro and Tony Mamaluke, on October 1, 2005.

Jacobs and Whitmer continued to team as part of Lacey's Angels managed by Lacey. The team broke apart as Jimmy Jacobs was more concerned with winning Lacey's affections than winning matches. Jacobs would go on to make music videos for ROH professing his love for Lacey. After Jacobs and Whitmer split, the two began feuding in brutal matches. In one match at the Dragon Gate Challenge on March 30, 2006 Whitmer slipped on the top turnbuckle while attempting a super powerbomb that dropped Jacobs head and neck first on the ropes and edge of the ring. The two continued to wrestle several minutes longer. At In Your Face on June 17, 2006, Whitmer super powerbombed Jacobs into the crowd. Jacobs went on to injure Whitmer at Gut Check on August 26, 2006.

It was later revealed in a storyline that Lacey was sleeping with Colt Cabana. Lacey arranged for the two to be a tag team. Cabana left the team because he was annoyed at Lacey, and tried to explain to Jacobs that she was using him. Jacobs seemingly accepted Cabana's explanation, before assaulted him. BJ Whitmer made his way back from injury and continued his issue with Jacobs. When Brent Albright joined Lacey's Angels, their matches soon became tag-team, where Whitmer and Cabana would face Jacobs and Albright. Recently, it has progressed to the point where Daizee Haze has joined forces with Whitmer, and Lacey, in turn as the leader of the group, hired an "assassin", Mercedes Martinez. At The Chicago Spectacular: Night 2, Lacey was injured after Whitmer accidentally struck her in the face with a spike when Jacobs moved out of the way. Jacobs would go on to make his third music video (in which he has been described as being "demented") expressing his felling on her disfigurement.

Jacobs faced Eddie Guerrero on the May 12, 2005 episode of WWE SmackDown!. Though Guerrero dominated the match, he lost by disqualification after he gave Jacobs a brainbuster onto a steel chair which he brought into the ring. In the course of the match, Guerrero forced Jacobs to wear one of Rey Mysterio's masks (Guerrero had been feuding with Mysterio for several months beforehand).

Jacobs has taped several matches for Wrestling Society X, a new promotion that airs on MTV. He is currently in an emo tag team with Tyler Black known as Do It For Her (D.I.F.H.).

"Trouble is already brewing for the new wrestling series called Wrestling Society X, which airs once a week on MTV.
After only three episodes have been aired, the fourth episode has just been pulled by MTV because it supposedly violated MTV's standards and practices. This has confused many, as Wrestling Society X had first received permission from MTV to film the stunt.
Wrestling Society X is assuring fans that the show is not being cancelled and only the 4th episode has been pulled from the air.
The incident in question involves one wrestler blowing a fireball into another wrestler's face. Many fans argue that the stunt has been used by wrestling promotions for over 30 years and that it isn't as bad as some of the other upcoming stunts, one of which will include a tank full of piranhas."

Craig Williams (born May 1, 1983), better known by his ring name, Human Tornado, is an American professional wrestler. Billed as being born in the fictional "Niggakeeprunnin", Mississippi. Tornado is also known for no-selling low blows and often pimp slaps those who attempt a low blow. Human Tornado appeared in the Jack Black lucha wrestling movie Nacho Libre as "El Snowflake." He is currently wrestling for the MTV promotion Wrestling Society X.

Human Tornado defeated Puma and Luke Hawk in a three way match at WSXtra. Luke Hawk challenged him to a rematch after the match. Tornado made his television debut defeating Luke Hawk in the rematch.

After staring in the film Nacho Libre, Williams has taken to the persona El Snowflake in the ring. In the storyline El Snowflake took the place of the injured Human Tornado on the second night of the 2006 Battle of Los Angeles in the Four-Way elimination match for the PWG World Championship.

Human Tornado was featured in the DVD, Pro Wrestling's Ultimate Insiders, which was an interview with former WWF(E) writers Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara. He was booking a match with other wrestlers.
On June 18, 2005, Human Tornado collapsed during a match with Adam Pearce. He was rushed to the hospital, and it was discovered that he was suffering from severe dehydration.

Hiromasa Horiguchi is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known as Genki Horiguchi, or simply Horiguchi.

He is currently working for the Dragon Gate wrestling promotion, and also works for Wrestling Society X.

Genki Horiguchi debuted in Dragon Gate with a surfer gimmick.

Horiguchi was recruited into heel stable M2K, where he rose to a second in command position, leaving his old surfer gimmick behind. When Masaaki Mochizuki left the stable, Horiguchi, not having the rank to assume the leadership position himself, began recruiting Magnum Tokyo to the stable.

When Magnum sealed the M2K name out of respect for Yasushi Kanda, the stable became DoFixer. Horiguchi would stay with the stable until late 2007, when he left to join the Muscle Outlaw'z.

Oren Hawxhurst is an American professional wrestler who currently wrestles in the Independent Circuit. He is better known by his stage name Luke Hawx.

Growing up, Oren's favorite wrestlers were "Ravishing" Rick Rude and Mr. Perfect. Oren regularly attended indy shows during his teenage years and one day he met "Vicious" Vic Grimes. Eventually Oren received his pro wrestling training from him.

Luke made his pro wrestling debut in Pensacola, Florida against Lightning Kid. Luke toured the United States independent scene before getting picked up by Xtreme Pro Wrestling. Altar Boy Luke (Oren) made his XPW debut by teaming with Altar Boy Matthew to form "The Altar Boys". Altar Boy Luke was abandoned when Matthew left XPW due to "personal reasons" so he became a singles wrestler.

He became a singles wrestler and took part in the King of the Deathmatch Tournament. He won his first round match by beating Vinnie Massaro, but lost to Supreme the next round. He again competed in the King of the Deathmatch and this time won the title by pinning Supreme at October 2002's "Fallout" event. Supreme defeated Altar Boy Luke to regain the K.O.T.D.M. Title in a House of Horrors Match in December, though.

When XPW folded in early 2003, Luke began to work for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and (more frequently) NWA Wildside.

On the September 1, 2003 WWE SmackDown! Altar Boy Luke & Mortis beat Big Bad John and Travis Tomko in a dark match, but World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) did not sign him into a contract . Since then, Luke and Kanyon have become good friends and often work on the same shows together in the California area.

Teddy Hart (born Teddy Annis on February 2, 1980 in Calgary, Alberta), is a Canadian professional wrestler. He currently wrestles in Wrestling Society X on MTV, and operates a wrestling school in Calgary.

Hart is a third generation member of the Hart wrestling family. He is the grandson of Stu Hart, and the nephew of Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Bruce Hart, Jim Neidhart and Davey Boy Smith. His mother is Georgia Hart and his father is B.J. Annis, a gym proprietor, fitness guru and former wrestler in his own right.

Hart achieved a degree of fame when he became the youngest wrestler ever to be signed to the World Wrestling Federation. However, his subsequent release and controversial actions while wrestling on the independent circuit have earned him a measure of infamy.

Hart debuted in 1995 at Rockyford, Alberta, where he tagged up with his late brother Matthew Annis for the first time, facing his cousin Harry Smith and T.J. Wilson. In the Calgary based Stampede Wrestling promotion he formed The Hart Foundation 2.0 with Harry Smith, T.J. Wilson and Jack Evans. The stable would later compete in Major League Wrestling, where Hart teamed with Evans as "The New Hart Foundation". In 2000, he also wrestled in Matrats (run by Eric Bischoff) with his cousins and kids who were interested in wrestling.

In 1998, Hart became the youngest person ever signed to a World Wrestling Federation developmental contract, and was sent to train with Dory Funk, Jr. at the "Funkin' Dojo". He was later released by the WWF because of "attitude" problems.

In 2005, he made several appearances with WWE, wrestling in dark matches and working as a jobber.

As of January 2007, WWE was reportedly looking to sign Teddy Hart and have him form the New Hart Foundation with Harry Smith, T.J. Wilson, and Nattie Neidhart, who have already been signed to the WWE.

On November 1, 2003, Hart competed on a Ring of Honor show in Elizabeth, New Jersey as part of a scramble cage match. After losing the match, he began to perform moonsaults and executed a shooting star press from the top of the cage rather than selling the moves he had taken. Hart then vomited at ringside. His actions attracted the ire of many wrestlers, including CM Punk, as he endangered some wrestlers by performing moves on them which they were not anticipating. Hart attributes his actions to a concussion suffered during the match. He has since wrestled at only one ROH show, At Our Best (held on March 13, 2004).

Hart made several appearances with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. In August 2003, he defeated Jonny Storm and then lost to Juventud Guerrera in the course of the Super X-Cup Tournament. He returned in March 2004 as a member of Team Canada, represented as its original captain in the 2nd America's X-Cup. He was released from the promotion following an altercation in a restaurant with CM Punk, where Sabu had to separate the two. CM Punk would later leave the promotion following the Rob Feinstein controversy in Ring of Honor.

Hart is currently black-balled from many promotions as a result of his unpredictable behaviour.

At some point he helped create the Ring Rats wrestling promotion in Canada where he was the main star. They were the first company to ever use platforms next to the ring so the wrestlers could do really high flying moves.

He performed in a few shows for Combat Zone Wrestling but was released after not showing up to their annual Best of the Best show.

In 2005, Hart won the JAPW Tag Team Titles twice, once with Jack Evans and once with Homicide.

On Saturday, July 1, 2006, Teddy Hart wrestled at 1 Pro Wrestling's Fight Club II event at the Barnsley Metrodome in Yorkshire, England. He faced and defeated the UK's own cruiserweight sensation 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' Pac.

On July 29, 2006, Hart took on Jay Lethal at a JAPW event in Aberdeen, New Jersey. The match featured a dazzling array of aerial maneuvers, capped off when Hart climbed on top of a soda machine and delivered a moonsault onto Lethal. Hart struck the ground with such impact that the match was briefly stopped while Hart stepped out into the parking lot to vomit. Hart then returned to the ring and won the match.

During July and August of 2006, Teddy came to the UK for major Promotion 1PW. He faced Pac in his first appearance and was involved in a 10 man brawl in his second. During the 10 man brawl, Hart was eliminated by TNA star Abyss when Hart's nemesis (and team mate in this match), Steve Corino knocked Hart's foot of the bottom rope.

On September 13, 2006, Hart wrestled long time nemesis Steve Corino at Pro Wrestling Xplosion's debut show "Lighting the fuse" at New Alhambra in south Philly. The match was a hard-fought bloody encounter between the two but controversially ended in a no-contest after the referee, associated with Steve Corino, called the match over claiming Teddy had submitted when in fact he had not. Teddy then challenged Corino to a fight in the parking lot, which lead to another pull apart brawl, the fans were solidly behind Teddy as he was livid over the match decision. A return match between Hart and Corino is currently being contemplated by PWX management.

On October 28, 2006, Teddy defeated Homicide, Low-Ki, and Necro Butcher at the JAPW 9th Anniversary Show in Rahway, New Jersey to win the JAPW Heavyweight Championship, thus becoming one of the few to have captured all the championships in JAPW.

On January 23, 2007, Hart was stripped of the JAPW Heavyweight Title and quit due to backstage problems with booking issues, management, and other wrestlers.

Hart is currently signed to MTV's Wrestling Society X project, which premiered in January 2007. He appeared in the inaugural contract rumble, where he was the second man to enter the ring. The contracts were eventually won by 6-Pac and Vampiro.

Jack Evans

Jack Evans (born April 2, 1982 in Parkland, Washington) is a professional wrestler who currently competes in the American-based promotion Ring of Honor, and the Japanese based promotion Dragon Gate. Evans also wrestles in Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, and taped matches for Wrestling Society X.

He made his Ring of Honor debut on November 1, 2003 at Main Event Spectacles. He wrestled in a Scramble Cage Match with Teddy Hart against The Backseat Boyz, Special K, The S.A.T., and The Carnage Crew. He shocked the crowd at the beginning of the match by performing his Ode to Blitzkrieg, a standing corkscrew 360° shooting star press followed by a standing corkscrew senton. Later in the match, Teddy Hart gave a hurricanrana to his own partner off one of the wooden platforms onto two opponents. Then to top it all off, he did a double backflip off the top of the cage to opponents below.

On May 22, 2004 Evans turned heel by joining the team Generation Next with Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Roderick Strong. Generation Next felt that they were the top athletes in ROH, and they were going to take the top spots in the company any way they could. For the rest of 2004, Generation Next feuded with the likes of the Second City Saints and Ricky Steamboat, as well as others in the ROH roster. At Final Battle 2004, Aries confronted Shelley after he lost a tag match with Strong to CM Punk and Steve Corino. Aries told Shelley to step down as the leader of Generation Next, then attacked before him before Shelley could answer. Strong pulled Aries off of Shelley, but then turned around and helped in the beat down. Evans was not present for the event and would not return for the next several shows, leaving into questioning if he would side the Shelley or Aries and Strong. He returned at the Third Anniversary Show: Part 1 on February 19, teaming up with Strong to face the Ring Crew Express, the Carnage Crew, and Special K (Izzy and Deranged in a Scramble Cage match. On February 26, Evans lost in a match against Alex Shelley. Following the match, all three members of Generation Next attacked Shelley.

On December 12, 2004 high-flyer Blitzkrieg gave his gimmick and mask to Evans. Since then, Evans competes on occasion as Blitzkrieg II.

On March 5, Generation Next competed in the Trios Tournament. They won their first two matches, defeating the team of Davey Andrews, Shane Hagadorn, and Anthony Franco (students of the Ring of Honor wrestling school) in the first round, and the team of the Second City Saints (CM Punk and Colt Cabana) and Steve Corino in the second round. However, Generation Next lost in the finals against The Rottweilers (Homicide, Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero).

Generation Next would spend most of 2005 feuding with Alex Shelley. Shelley, due to his actions while he was the leader of Generation Next, was unable to find many allies in the ROH locker room, and was left to defend himself against Generation Next. Eventually, Prince Nana offered him a spot in The Embassy, but he refused, though he soon changed his mind. Shelley’s joining the Embassy turned Generation Next into faces and the two factions continued to wage war on each other for the rest of the year. On August 12, Generation Next added Matt Sydal to the group, as well as his valet Daizee Haze. Generation Next soon had another valet when Jade Chung, tired of the way she was being abused by Prince Nana, turned on the Embassy. On November 5, Daizee Haze betrayed Generation Next and joined the Embassy. The Generation Next/Embassy feud ended on December 3 in a steel cage elimination match, with Generation Next emerging victorious.

That same month, Evans & Roderick Strong toured Japan with the Dragon Gate promotion. Starting in April 2006, Jack moved to Japan for three months to train and wrestle with the Dragon Gate promotion. In Dragon Gate, Evans became a member of CIMA's Blood Generation stable.

2006 brought new changes for Jack Evans and ROH. Austin Aries and Roderick Strong were the tag team champions while Evans and Matt Sydal began to work more in Japan. On March 30, Generation Next faced the Dragon Gate stable Blood Generation.

With Matt Sydal and Jack Evans touring in Japan, Roderick Strong and Austin Aries announced at the June 3 Ring of Honor show that there was no longer a need for Generation Next. Evans teamed with Aries, Strong, and Sydal one last time on July 29 at Generation Now, losing to the team of Davey Richards, Jerelle Clark, and Irish Airborne. Following with match, Evans, Aries, Strong, and Sydal laid down their Generation Next shirts in the middle of the ring, officially ending Generation Next.

Evans confirmed that he will not return to the states for the rest of the 2006 year. Instead he will be in Japan wrestling for the Dragon Gate Promotion, but said that he will be back in January and the rest of the 2007 year. During his layover in Japan, Evans spent his time using his skills as THIS MAN to fight alongside allies Pedro and Nabeshin in their never-ending war against THAT MAN.

Evans returned to ROH on January 26, 2007 in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Disco Machine is one of the six owners of SoCal promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, collectively known as the "PWG Six". Disco Machine frequently teams with Excalibur, Kevin Steen, and Ronin as the new S.B.S., after he and Excalibur turned on Super Dragon. Matthew Capiccioni is a professional wrestler who is best known as M-Dogg 20. A former Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW), and CZW star, currently working in Ring of Honor, UWA Hardcore Wrestling, Jersey All Pro Wrestling and AZW Action Zone Wrestling, currently working as "M-Dogg20" Matt Cross in Wrestling Society X. His professional wrestling gimmick is that of a follower of "straight edge", a culture which he follows in real life -- similar to that of the more famous professional wrestler CM Punk.

Matt Capiccioni participated in competitive gymnastics for ten years, in 1999 Cross and his high school friend Josh Piscura (aka Josh Prohibition) discovered ECW and decided to start training, Cappicioni was involved in Backyard Wrestling (including JCW) before enrolling at the Cleveland Pro Wrestling training school under J.T. Lighting.

Matt made his debut in Hawaii when he debuted for Action Zone Wrestling on May 31st and June 1st, 2006 as part of their Anniversary Annihilation event. On May 31st, 2006 he lost to Super Hentai in their first ever singles meeting. Then on June 1st he teamed with Society's Rejects to defeat King Makoa & The Hotbodies in a six man elimination match. Returned on Dec. 21st, 2006 to team up with Super Hentai for the first time ever to defeat DDB and AkuA at Battleclash II.

Matt made his long awaited debut in Ring Of Honor on October 7, 2006 in Detroit as the replacement for Delirious who fought earlier in the night against the debuting Zach Gowen. Matt wouldn't win the 6 Man Mayhem match but he impressed the crowd and ROH officials enough that Matt would definitely be returning to ROH in the future. He returned on the October 27, 2006 show in Dayton, Ohio, where he lost in a good match to Christopher Daniels. He went on to face Daniels again in Philadelphia on November 4, 2006. This match saw Daniels pin M-Dogg (announced as "M-Dogg" Matt Cross) with the "Angel's Wings".

At the time Matt was the current reigning UWA Hardcore Wrestling Canadian Champion, having regained the title from Puma at the "Return of the Dragon" show on July 28 of that year, the return caused Matt to be striped of the UWA Hardcore Wrestling Canadian Championship belt as he was scheduled to defend his title on the same night.

On December 9, 2006 M-Dogg (subbing for the injured Matt Sydal) teamed with one half of the ROH tag team champions Christopher Daniels, and went on to lose to Austin Aries & Roderick Strong in a non title match.

In MTV's Wrestling Society X he is teaming with Teddy Hart as "The Filth and the Fury"

From prison lock-downs to wrestling lock-ups, Brian Flemming has certainly seen the worst of times and best of times. A brutal head-knocking mat personality, the life of the character he portrays in the ring is not far from that of the always “on the edge of the law” life he once pursued

“Basically I have been arrested 5 times for fighting,” Bryan Fleming mentions now, “and so the guy I am in the ring is not far from the one I have known for so long.” A once promising youth pursuing a high school career of baseball and basketball, all that changed when he fell in with the wrong crowd and soon was heavily into partying and resulting bar brawls. “It was something I am not proud of now,” he explains now, “but something that was unfortunately a part of my life.”

He now brings the survival smarts he learned in those troubled days, however, to his newfound role as a brutalizing mat brother of Basil Bozinas in their dreaded tag team, Definition of Pain. “We are perfectly suited to each other,” he assuredly asserts now, “since we both are out to not only win victories but to hurt our opponents while doing so. We work so well together. Nothing need be said. I know what he’s thinking and he knows what is going through my mind at all times. We just go in there to kick ass. And we do it better than anyone else can!”

While Brian Flemming does admit that the sport of pro wrestling has helped bring a center to his life; allowing him to focus his energies on a new more positive career in sports entertainment, he still can’t help but savor at times the chance to recreate the harsh realities that he once was part of as a day to day part of his prior existence. “ All the tag teams who think they can challenge us for the title of tough guy get into line right now. They may think they’re the baddest guys on the block, but they just don’t know what bad is till they try to intimidate the original intimidators and walk away with an Ultimate butt-kicking from the guys who have defined what real hardcore pain and suffering are!”

He's a current member of the PWG roster.
